Are You Considering Keeping Poultry?

Many of our young hens and ducks are from our own breeding stock. We sometimes buy day old chicks from a commercial hatchery and rear these to point of lay for re-sale to the general public. This has the advantage of introducing new blood lines into our stock.

We have several regular broody hens and we prefer to rear our chicks the natural way with the Mother hen.
